Question:

Rec'd lily bulbs I thought would arrive in fall. They've sprouted 2'" our lily season is 1/2over. Plant now??

What do I do with them now.. plant or dry them and plant in the fall.

  1. I wouldn't wait more than a few weeks since they are showing "an eagerness to proliferate".  They always say it best to put them in soon after receiving them. Sooner is better than later.


  2. you can plant Them now. They will flower next Year.

  3. Plant them immediately,  give them a chance to absorb some energy, partially shade them  for the first week or the sun would burn out the sprout. If you wait until fall, they would use up all their energy and die or rot.
