Recap: New York Knicks defeat Chicago Bulls by 120 – 112
Knicks hit sixteen 3’s in their win over the Bulls at United Center, Chicago. The match was witnessed by 21,203 basketball fans.
Man of the match
It was none other than Toney Douglas who took the match away. What a game he played, it was just amazing. He scored a career-high of 30 points. The New York Knicks made
16 of 24 3-point attempts in a 120-112 victory over the Bulls.
Prominent players for Knicks
Four Knicks players were outstanding during the game and scored points in double digits. Douglas scored the highest number of points for the Knicks with his 30. Danilo Gallinari
at the second number with 24 points. At the third position was Raymond Bernard Felton with 20 points. Amar'e Carsares Stoudemire also added 14 points.
Prominent players for the Bulls
Five Bull’s players scored in double digits. Derrick Martell Rose stands at number one with 24 points. Then Kyle Elliot Korver and Taj Gibson with 18 points each. Lou Deng
scored 17 points and Joakim Noah added 12 points.
First Quarter
Stoudemire opened the session with a basket and by the end of the first quarter he added a total of 8 points for the Knicks. Gallinari played well and added 10 points. Felton
scored 7 points. Douglas and Chandler added 3 points each.
Gibson played well at the Bulls end and added 11 points. Rose scored 6 points and Deng added 5 points. Noah also scored 4 points in the first part.
Score: Knicks got the jump on with 34 – 30.
Second Quarter
Gallinari played the second session like a rocket and added 11 points for the Knicks, Douglas followed him with 9 points while Stoudemire
and Turiaf
added 4 points each.
Korver led the second session of the Bulls with 5 points. Noah added 4 points to the scoreboard, as did Deng while Gibson summed up the session with 3 points.
Score: The Knicks were leading with 36 – 22 by this point.
Third Quarter
Douglas headed the Knicks attack in the third part of the game and added 9 points. Felton added 8 points to the score barrel of the second session. Turiaf, Chlander, and
Stoudemire added 2 points each as well.
Rose contributed to the third session with a valuable 15 points for the Knicks. Deng scored 8 points while Bogans and Noah scored 4 points each.
Score: Bulls were leading by 23 – 31.
Fourth Quarter
Douglas went into the final quarter by adding a precious 18 points for the Knicks. Chlander scored 16 points, while Felton and Gallinari individually added 3 points.
Korver struggled at the Bull’s end and added 13 points by the end of the fourth session. Asik accelerated and scored 5 points while Watson and Brewer added 4 points each.
Score: Although the Bulls dominated the final round by 27 – 29, it was in vain.
Turning point of the Game
Although the Bulls did not play the first two quarters impressively, they kept struggling, and played the final two rounds fantastically, and made a great come back. Nevertheless,
their efforts were not up to the mark as the Knicks beat them with an 8 points difference.

The hero of the game Douglas said, "I make sure that every time I shoot it that I have confidence that it's going in," he said. "I can miss 10 in a row. I'm going to shoot
the next one and make it."
"Once you start to see the ball going in from different people it makes it a lot easier for everyone else," said the Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni.
