Reccomendations for nightlife in manchester?

does anyone know which nightclub would be best for dance/funky house/commercial (but nor overly cheesy) music on a saturday night in central manchester and also any restaurant reccomendations?! Thanks

I agree with the previous comments made about canal street. I used to live in Manchester and went clubbing in the village and always had a good time. Its a nice mix of people and there are some good bars and clubs like Essential.

for a meal, would definitely recommend croma on clarence street near the town hall.  also worth trying tiger lounge which is a great little club near st peters square

Go to canal street for a great night out, Once only used by g*y people now enjoyed by straight folk too!
