Laguna Suites is offering a 5 day 4 night vacation in Cancun, Mexico. I do not expect something for nothing. Am prepared to pay some expenses, but wondered what they would be, and what other commitments and conditions are required.

Wondered if someone had accepted the package and what it was. Of coursem, I will talk to the sponsor offering vacation, but they are wanting to promote it, and would not be objective. Therefore would be extremely grateful for any information about this package or similiar ones.

  1. Be very careful, if they tell you it's something for nothing, it's probably a time share scam. If it cost you nothing, then it's probably better to put it in the bin.

There's a saying, If it looks to good to be true, it Is !!! Don't be sucked in, as it could cost you a lot of money in the long run.

If you do decide to go, expect to have to sit through a presentation for about an hour, and then have people who don't know what the words "I'm not interested" are pester you to death trying to sell you something that you don't really want.

Cancun is a Beautiful Place, but is however full of Timeshare Sharks.

    Take care with this !!!

  2. These usually involve a tour/sales pitch for their suites/condos. Not to worry if you can say no no no no no no no no no no no no. There is usually a time limit on the presentation so wear a watch and do not be afraid to say times up.

  3. This is a Time-Share trap. Beware in Canun of rip-offs like this..I used these idiots for a car rental and they sold my reservation to another company and I didn't get the correct car and had to pay extra when we arrived. We will never use this j******f company for anything again. We go to Cancun 3 times a year. They have about 20 different websites from weddings to car rentals. PIMSA is the biggest group of cheats that I have ever dealt with. The guy at the car rental place agreed with us about this company. My company and its employees as well as everyone that I know have been warned about these criminals. I called the tourism board in Cancun and they have started a full investigation. Any website that has the words PIMSA or Cormoran Travel Group is a BIG "NO NO NO" for the people here in Canada. The owner is some Spanish guy that took our reservation. We lost 900.00 USD

  4. I actuallly work for the resort in the reservations department.  I also sell these packages.  There is a 90 minute presentation involved in the promotion.  There is absolutely no obligation to buy anything.  The vacation should involve a 49.00 activation fee and hotel taxes do apply.  We also offer discounts on an all inclusive discount and spa packages.  This is a great way to come to Cancun.  The resorts are nice and the tour is very informational......because you stay at one resort, but play at all four of them. We also offer extra nights at a discounted rate and other promotions.   I book many reservations for this promotion and everyone is happy with their package.  You can call me at 1 800 690 8590 ext 6110 for more information.  I would be happy to answer any questions or concerns that you have concerning your vacation.  You are correct.....nothing in life is absolutely free....but this is better than free.....it is real.
