Received letter from EEOC for mediation, how long will it be till we meet?

I was a supervisor for a major warehouse, I had 30 employees under me, 5 were fired for alleged hazing.. I was fired for so call knowldge of this for which i had none.. I do have a lawer and was invited for mediation.. its been 5 months now and have heard nothing as far as meeting ... Any help or advice???

Sorry to hear of your loss. I too was a victim of circumstance and used arbitration and mediation to the fullest extent. Hope you have better luck. You can not win if you only have he said she said testimony. EEOC is extremely hard to convince. You need evidence and plenty of it. The longer it goes the harder it is due to people memory. Many of my friends simply forgot about the situation or where later scarred to testify.

Best of luck. You are going to need it. You have a lawyer which usually is not required but a good choice.

As you have an attorney I'd suggest that you contact him/her and ask if there are any updates on your case that you could be made aware of.
