Receiving $100,000 gift from a friend in Morocco.. how does this work?

Do I pay tax on this money? or is friend in Morocco going to be taxed?

Sounds like a scam. From Morocco?  Unless you are getting it from the King of Morroco I would be very careful....the Nigerians had a smiliar scam, where they ended up cleaning your bank account!

You will probably be liable for gift taxes.  You should go see a tax attorney before the gift is made to see if there's a way to minimize or avoid taxes.
