  1. Im in San Fernando Valley... felt it good... why arent the cell phones working though? Land lines are good...

    And it was a 5.8 not a 7.6

  2. Caltech downgraded it to a 5.4 in Chino Hills.

Felt it in Ontario but no damage at my house.  Ontario is about 10 miles east of epicenter.  Always un-nerving, but all is well.

  3. I honestly did not freak out. I work in The Hacienda Heights area which is nearby chino hills. But I wasnt a bit scared. We must remember to remain calm at all times and not run out buildings...you would be amazed to see how many people run out with out looking around and noticing our surroundings. Then again, I lived in norther california where we had earthquakes all the time...the biggest one I ever experienced was back in 1989 during the world series the epicenter was in loma linda and was at a 6.9....It had to be pretty huge for a 3 1/2 year old (me at the time) to remember.

  4. The news people are freaking all over the

place after this low grade quake. there goes tv and

radio for the next 24 hours with these

fear mungers are reassuring themselves that their fantastic

lives wont be cut short yet. thank god for the

internet where p**n never sleeps come h**l or high

water. these news people are nuts. they all sound like

they are all heroes for having lived through this.

  5. Yeah, we live 12 miles off from chino hills. I am in the O.C. area there was no major damage and i do know that the quake is 5.4 and there were 34 aftershocks afterward. The water in our pool downstairs is still having its aftershocks.

  6. 5.8, Chino Hills, I felt it pretty good and realized we need to anchor out TV down better. If a jerky one came or a stronger one came, it would have fallen over! This wasn't a bad one, lasted a long time but pretty smooth. A little shaking is good!

PS My cell phone works fine.

  7. It was 2miles north of chino hills. Felt up to 30miles away. 5.4 it was a 5.8 downgraded to 5.4. It rocked and rolled and that is it.

I felt it at my work in Glendora and when i came home to my home in Upland things were on the ground. Lasted about 30seconds.

Cell phones were not working at the time due to high volume of calls. Everyone in the Inland empire was So cal were trying to call people lol

A little shaking is always good to relieve the pressure.

  8. i was in class during the earthquake and everybody shouted to go under the desks (which were INFESTED with dried gum). after that, we were evacuated outside for about 10 minutes before we headed back inside.

  9. i fell into my closet cuz i was getting dressed

  10. i felt it but it was a 5.6 (south orange) but i have friends in chino hills, i MUST ask if they are ok!

  11. the person above me is lieing

i scared the shisit out of me

  12. i was in ontario felt a good shake for about 3 seconds. alot bigger than what weve had recently but we were due for one.

nothing to be worried about right now. no reported injuries or deaths, no collapsed buildings.

hope everyone affected by this is okay

  13. no fear.........we wont fall into the ocean like previously thought.  the pull from arizona is strong.  they suck that much.
