Recent fake yahoo addresses trying to join my group?

This problem has just started happening and I did not have it before. Our group is a private group where you need to be approved before joining. It is a club and is members only. We have had a bunch of people trying to join lately and when I e-mail them asking for their names the e-mail bounces and says it does not exist! sometimes I get 5 or 6 a day! They also some pretty weird questions. Like I need moving boxes or I have too much trash........ Is this common becuse it never was a problem before.

th spammers just happened to find you- having restricted membership allows you to monitor who joins. we get a faur share of these too.
