Recent monroe piercing?

Question

I got my monroe done yesterday, and in reading on how to care for it i read that you arent supposed to rotate the jewelry because it can cause scar tissue. but then on the sheet that i got from the piercer it said that i should rotate it while im cleaning it, and about 2-3 times a day. so does anyone have any suggestions, or if you went thru this also? thanks

Listen to your piercer. You know for a fact that they are licensed, and that their guidelines have been approved.

Anyone can post anything on the internet now a days.

Follow what the paper the piercer gave you, i did it that way and it worked fine with me, ive had my monroe for 8 years now,

good luck keep fingers off it(if there dirty and keep it clean) oh and quit chewing on the barbell from the inside!

Yep i got my monroe pierced about 8 weeks ago and i ALWAYS rotated my lip bar, it helps so tht skin doesnt grown and jams the piercing in there, i noticed one day when i didn't rotate it tht the bar got all gooey and got stuck a bit and went all crusty, it wasnt nice at all, and also if your piercer told u to rotate the bar then do it! ignore the internet,

ive had my monroe done for 8 weeks now and its fine! i change it all the time :)
