  1. The first link is to a website of a guy who takes series of pictures out there all the time.  He even has a set of a group of surfers that rescued a couple of guys off a sailboat after it capsized.  There are a couple other links to a few pics and the last one is a video:


  2. That is Fort Point.  It's on the south side of the channel right under the Golden Gate Bridge.
