Recently Moved to California and need some advice on the locating an apt. and good school district in west la.

I moved out here in October of 2006 and recently got custody of my two nephews ages 11 and 15. I am interested in moving to the West La area and also looking for a good scool district. Right now I live in Paramount, CA and I am looking to move by middle of August.

No. Do not move to west LA. It's not a very good place to live. The school district is not very good and it can get dangerous sometimes. Trust me. I used to live there.

West LA is a very nice and very multi-cultural area. I know Indian, Middle Easterns, Africans, Whites, and latinos, that live near there. Many of the people in West LA have good jobs and careers. There is the Culver City School district. you are close to many different areas. You just gotta do your research online...
