Recently got a tattoo done, but a little worried?

I recently (3days ago) got a tattoo done. The tattooist used new sterilized needles opening them infront of me. The ink caps he used seemed new (had no ink stains) but he took the ink out of a bottle into the ink caps.Also I was his first client that day. This is my first tattoo, it seems to be healing well but im a little worried after hearing about people getting infected with hepatitis, AIDS etc. Should i get a blood test done now? Will it show cuz generally it takes 3-6 months for the infection to be detected. Im a little worried about it, any advice ??

Sounds like your artist did everything right. Let it heal while keeping it clean. Other than that, I wouldn't worry about it.

Nowadays tattooists use autoclaves to sterilize all non-disposable equipment and use sterile, disposable tools for all the rest.  It sounds like you went to a reputable and responsible tattooist.

I would not worry about having contracted any diseases from your tattoo.
