  1. Upgrade your computers RAM, Video card and if you have extra cash better upgrade your hard drive. If you have plans of having a new computer next time better visit this site http://www.trvidcom.com.au/

  2. ram, processor, and video card = huge improvement

  3. click on start, then click on run and type "msconfig" w/out the ("") then click on the startup tab and disable all of the things you do not want to start up for example software like itunes or what ever. then restart your computer.

The result is a faster start-up

  4. New RAM is big for starters

  5. If you mean like upgrade it to vista, you can just go buy vista at walmart or best buy or somewhere like that. But if you use vista on an xp computer it might be slow

  6. bigger hard drive more ram and new processor are the main things to make a computer better

  7. I did this too.  Buying a used computer is pretty fun.  I added a dvd burner and installed it.  I bought a 250 gig hard drive and installed that as well.  I added more memory to it but buying memory is tricky because it's so specific to the computer.  You can't just buy random memory and think it will work in your computer, it's gotta fit into the mother board a certain way.  The best thing to do before you install anything is to open up the computer and see how things are connected in there.  I didn't know anything about computers and just saw how the hard drive had a wide, flat cord and a little electrical cord plugged into it, then just plugged in the same thing to my new hard drive.  Good luck.

  8. get 2gigs of ram that is the fastest. but just take it to a computer guy if you cant do it your self. he can tell you the best upgrades! just ask him for THE BEST COMPUTER.

  9. yep you can upgrade it but the most you can do is add memory 1gb max if your lucky and a bigger hard drive but the the processor is what makes it lost value. and it would cost more to upgrade then to buy a new one..what you can do is go to dell web site and type in the service code of the computer and see what you can get to improve it...
