  1. Are you having appetizers or a full meal?

Do you have a bridal party?

You could have your marriage blessed, go out and take a few pictures, then have the DJ announce you guys as Mr & Mrs...

After that you guys can eat.

Then you will have your first dance, father/daughter dance and mother/son dance...once you are finished with that you can invite all of your guests onto the dance floor.

A few hours into the reception you can cut the cake.

About 30 hour after the cake is served you can do the bouquet toss - then the garter toss.

Then people will dance until the last song of the evening.

  2. People usually start out with eating...then they have the dances like the daddy daughter, mother son..etc....

Then the scheduled things like the cake cutting, bouquet toss, and garter.

    Then dancing..

This way, the people that don't want to stay for the dancing can see everything else and clear out before the party gets started :]
