Rechargeable batteries w/ charger? What do you suggesT?

I'm planning on going to a trip to France and I want as much battery power as possible. What is the best charger and batteries to go with it?

i think thats a good idea because i have them and they work but the charger has 2 be connected so the batteries can charge..
