Rechargeable battery query?

I have an energiser rechargeable battery pack thats lights when charging are meant to be red and green when charged. Every time i plug the charger in the lights flash red. Does anyone know why it is doing this?

  1. one of the batteries is bad. it wont take a chrarge.
