  1. EDIBLE FLOWER GARNISHES

NOTE: Be SURE flowers have not been sprayed with pesticides.

Bee Balm: Fragrant citrus smell and taste, good for baked goods.

    Chamomile: Mild and sweet.

Daises: Clover-like or minty, good for salads, garnishes and cake decorating.

Fuschia: Tart lemon, pretty on pies.

Scented Geraniums: Many flavors from coconut to nutmeg, very versatile.

    Honeysuckle: Mild honey flavor.

Pansies: Grape taste, pretty on pies.

  2. Roses, geraniums, nasturtiums, violets are all edible flowers, as long as they haven't been sprayed with pesticides.  You can dip them in slightly beaten egg whites, then dip into granulated sugar; and dry them on baking racks - or just use them fresh in salads or on cakes
