  1. Ingredients:

    ----------------

    Evaporated milk : 2 Cups

    Curd (any type) : 1 Cup

    Sugar : As per taste.

    Method:

    -----------

    - Pre heat the oven at 350 F

    - Mix some sugar (as per your taste) in the milk and lukewarm it.

    - Mix another portion of sugar in the curd.

    - Now mix the curd in the lukewarm milk and stir it .

    - Keep the milk in the pre-heated oven for 35-45 mins.

    - Once the curd is set, put it in the fridge for couple of hours.

    Sweet card ( Misti dohi )

    Really, it has nothing special from a regular 'sour' dohi (card) than that some sugar is added while boiling the milk.

    After adequate boiling with sugar, let it become lukewarm, mix some old-day card as an agent , pour in a bowl or any container, if possible earthen pot , cover the mouth and place some cotton or like on it to keep it warm. Let eight hours to go ... and you get the "sweet card". Thanks

  3. *if u add sugar to milk and then set the curds, the  dahi does not set properly but it cracks & is sort of watery !!!!

    The trick is to use condensed milk along with yr regular  milk and then set the dahi : either in a earthen pot or normal steel utensil !!!!

    Enjoy the mishti doi of bengal at home !!!
