Recipe for maryland cookies please........ and method if poss.?

I just love these and really want to bake them for my kids.

  1. WOW this is a hard one to find!! This is what I have found.

    200g margarine/butter

    150g sugar

    150g brown sugar

    2 eggs

    275g wheat flour

    1 teaspoon baking powder

    50g chopped almonds

    100g chopped cooking chocolate

    Stir butter and sugar well. Add eggs, sift in flour and baking powder, then stir in the almonds and chocolate. Use a teaspoon to portion onto baking paper. Oven cook until light brown (10-12 minutes) at 200 degrees C.

    MARYLAND BLACK PEPPER COOKIES

    2 eggs, separated

    1 c. packed brown sugar

    1 c. flour

    1 tsp. cinnamon

    1/4 tsp. salt

    1/2 tsp. ground cloves

    1/4 tsp. black pepper

    1/4 tsp. soda

    1/4 tsp. baking powder

    1 c. seeded raisins

    1 c. nuts

    Beat eggs. Add sugar and mix well. Sift dry ingredients together and add to eggs. Stir in raisins and nuts. (Add more flour if needed -- dough should be stiff.) Drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 7 minutes.
