Recipe for white chicken chili in crock pot that uses white wine.?

about 6 years ago, i came across a recipe that used white zinfidel wine and made a great white chicken chili. I remember using the crock pot, white beans, chicken and when it was all done sprinkled cheddar cheese over it. and lined the bowls with tortilla shells.. it was wonderful.

  1. be creative and make your own! brown chicken, onions and peppers then add your basic chili spices add 1 can chicken broth, 1 can chopped tomatoes, 1 cup white wine and simmer

    serve in shells or in bowl with white rice. top with cheese

    White Chicken Chili

    2 large jars of Great Northern beans  3 cups chicken broth  

    2 garlic cloves  

    2 medium onions  

    4 cups cubed chicken (approx. 4 chicken b*****s)  

    2 4-oz. cans green chilis  *2 tsp. ground cumin  

    1 1/2 tsp. oregano  

    1/4 tsp. ground cloves  

    1/4 tsp. cayenne red pepper  

    Grated cheddar or monteray jack cheese  

    salsa & sour cream if desired  

    Method

    In one tsp. of oil, saute garlic & onion until sauced. Add beans & broth to mixture. Shred chicken (or in a food processor) and add to mixture. Add chilies & all spices. Salt and pepper to taste. Cook on low for 30-40 minutes. Great to make a day ahead! Serve with cheeses and sour cream for topping.
