Recipe using rogan josh powder

i have a recipe for lamb rogan josh. they are asking to use rogan josh powder but i can t find it in the supermarket . is there anything else i can use as a substitute

You'll need to make it yourself from spices.

Here's one version:

3 green cardamom seeds, crushed

1 cinnamon stick of approximately 2 inches, powdered or 1 level tsp. powder  

2 tsp. coriander powder  

1/4 – 1/2 tsp. chilli powder, adjusted to taste  

1 tsp. paprika powder

1 level tsp. cumin powder  

1 level tsp. turmeric powder  

1 tsp.fennel powder  

1 tsp. garam masala  

½ tsp asafeotida

A few strands of saffron, soaked in a tbs. of warm water  

You can make a larger batch by multiplying the quantites, it's best after a month or so but use within 3 months
