  4. Easy Swedish Meatballs

    Here is a Swedish meatball recipe I have used for years. You may use store bought frozen meatballs but these are good too.

    Ingredients:

        * 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef

        * 1/4 pound Jimmy Dean sausage (or favorite ground sausage)

        * 1 egg

        * 1/4 cup ketchup

        * 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

        * 1 tablespoon dry mustard

        * 1 tablespoon soy sauce

        * 1 clove minced garlic

        * 2 teaspoons salt

        * 1 teaspoon pepper

        * .

        * Sauce:

        * 2 cans Cream of Mushroom soup

        * 1 cup sour cream

        * 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

        * 1 dash Tabasco sauce

        * 1/4 cup milk

    Preparation:

    Mix all ingredients together for the meat mixture. DO NOT OVER MIX! Roll into small balls and place on cookie sheet. Bake 45 minutes or until browned. In a medium bowl mix sauce ingredients together. Place meatballs in a skillet or crock pot. Simmer for 45 minutes. May be used as main dish served over rice or noodles or as an appetizer served with toothpicks.

  5. use it in lasagna.  trust me, it'll be goooood..  you don't even have to cut up the meatballs either.

    or cook it with some cream of mushroon soup, little bit of water, dry veggie soup mix, diced onion, and sliced mushrooms. serve it over pasta/rice

  6. Hi,

    yesterday I purchased frozen meatballs. I sliced a large onion and placed on the bottom of my crockpot. I added the meatballs on top of the onion. Add a can of pineapple chunks (reserve the juice). Mix teriyaki glaze (not sauce) and pineapple juice pour over the meatballs. Cook on high about 4 hours serve with steam rice. If you don't have a crockpot set your oven to 350 and cook for 2 hours uncovered.

  7. I often used premade frozen meatballs in this recipe.  Just warm the meatballs and pour the prepared sauce over them.  Whenever I take these to a party everyone always asks for the recipe.  They're awesome!
