  1. my jack russell adores tuna and pasta mixed together or  chicken with brown rice and a little bit of beef gravy (make sure it cooled down before you give it to the dog) he also likes corned beef with rice or pasta too. hope thats of some help to you

  2. Meat and Rice Doggie Dinner

    Ingredients:

1 pound of ground beef  or other meat

    1/2 cup of cooked rice

    2 small potatoes

1/2 cup of green beans or other veggie

    1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

    Directions:

Brown the meat in a pan. When completely cooked, drain the fat.

Add the cooked rice, mix well and set aside.

Cut the potato and veggies into bite-sized pieces. Place in a pot of water; bring to a boil and simmer until veggies are tender. Drain.

Add the vegetables to the meat mixture.

Add garlic powder; mix thoroughly under low heat.

Cool before serving to prevent burning.

  3. Go to:

    And type in your search.

  4. Go for raw meaty bones diet.

  5. Thaw out chicken leg quarter in fridge.

Take chicken leg quarter out fridge hand to dog.

Raw bones are safe, COOKED bones should NEVER be fed.

  6. Chicken and rice

Get some stripped chicken carcasses from your butcher - this is what's left over after the butcher has taken the cuts (legs, wings and b*****s). Chuck the whole carcass (or 2 or 3 at a time) into a large pan of water and boil for at least 30mins, so that you can strip the meat off the bones with your fingers when it's cooled down. What you don't use can be stored in the fridge for up to a couple of days.

Cook up some rice in the chicken stock to save water, it will also taste better as far as your dog is concerned.

Wait for everything to cool sufficiently and give to your dog, who's probably been waiting patiently after smelling the chicken cooking ;) You can add some diced carrots to make it more colourful, but I don't think the dog would care either way.

Yummy! Healthy food, healthy doggy :)

  7. First of all never chicken bones because they splinter easily and can get caught in the throat.Take the chicken meat off the bone.

Left overs if you have them

    Soups,

    Raw but preferably cooked meat

Veg-but avoid green veg if your dog isn't used to it-you'll pay tomorrow otherwise.

    Rice (unless allergic-some are)

Potato (cooked) but not too much

    Egg-raw/beaten up-or hard boiled

    Cooked bacon/sausage.

Dump in bowl any old how-presentation not in any way important.

    For Dessert

Slices of apple or such.Piece of cheese (smellier the better)

NO GRAPES-NO CHOCOLATE (other than doggy choccy drops)

    Finally wait for appreciative belch
