Hey, my sister and I need some more fruit in our diet, but we get bored easily, so, could you recommend some recipes to jazz up fruit? Especially bananas, apples, and peaches/ apricots, but, all fruit is appreciated. The healthier the better. Easy or very complicated recipes, it doesn't matter. Thank you!

  1. honey or splenda is a nice addition to berries or peaches

apple slices and peanut/almond butter is a delicious snack (the protein in the nuts also is a good energy booster)

slice bananas into your morning cereal (all bran flakes and cheerios with non fat milk)

  2. Any stone fruit (ie apricots, peaches, plums, nectarines) is nice grilled or baked with a bit of brown sugar sprinkled on top.  I like most fruit poached in ver juice.  Apples are nice peeled, cored chopped into large chunks then caramelised in some butter and sugar in a frypan.

  3. You can cook peaches on the grill. If I remember right, you cut them in half and sprinkle them with just a tiny bit of sugar. Then grill them face down until the sugar is caramelized. With bananas, I eat them with peanut butter (an all-natural peanut butter of course). It is one of my favorite snacks. This time of year, I think homemade apple sauce is delicious. I slice my apples thin with the skin on (healthier that way), and cook them in a saucepan with cinnamon until they are really tender, then eat them warm. You can add raisins to that one. My all-time favorite fruit dish is pretty simple. I like sliced up bananas and berries with vanilla yogurt.

  4. slice up a ripe banana and roll it in phyllo dough. you can add chocolate chips to it and crushed almonds. drizzle butter over it and bake till golden

core a baking apple. add cinnamon and sugar and bake till a toothpick pricks the meat easily.

try frozen grapes as a snack when it's hot outside.

peaches, bananas, strawberries, mangos and some other fruits are great as smoothies

try to find parfait recipes. they generally include apples, berries and peaches. plus you get yogurt which is good for you too

you can add strawberries in a simple syurp to cottage cheese

crepes with berries, or cooked apple slices and caramel sauce

you can add canned mandarin oranges to oriental salads

sugar free jello with fruit added to it.

email me i will send  you lots of fruit recipes.
