My friends and I where messing aroung in a local park and we put one of my friends on the roof of my vehicle and we where driving around and going over the bumps, and then a police officer pulled us over and told me that I was driving recklessly and going kind of fast, and then issued my citation for reckless driving. What i want to know is what are the possible things that the judge could give to me, like fines, or driver liscense removal etc.

  1. If you live in Virginia, then you would be looking at a maximum of twelve months in jail, six months suspension of your driver’s license, and a fine of up to $2,500.

Fines and penalties will vary from state to state.

The judge will not be lenient with you because you are a young driver.  Most judges I have seen do not give any breaks to young drivers because they want to teach them a lesson.

    Good luck.

  2. You're lucky they didn't fall off the roof hit their head and die.  Then you'd be in a bit more trouble than reckless driving.

  3. Most reckless driving fees are from $500.00 to $1000.00 as for what else will happen, well lets just say it will be very important to be on your best behavior when you are speaking to the judge.

  4. Yes to all of the above.

  5. You might face a series of charges, I think you should talk to a solicitor.
