  2. Do you mean physically vanish or vanish as an illusory entity/person/agent existing inside brain as psychophysical sensation?

    Clearly the physical body just does not vanish because there is no recognition - it exists until death and is either buried and decays or is burnt and is ashes. But you might mean if there is no recognition there is no sensation of existence as an entity/person/agent. Recognition of existence can only take place inside brain as psychophysical sensation of the physical organism - without psychophysical sensation of the physical organism there is only psychovisual sensation of out there, as the out-there. Why should the organism want a sensation of its existence - this is always an effect of blind brain activity disorder. Being no-thing is is the subsidence of psychophysical sensation, which is peace, silence, freedom from subject sensation. But most human organisms don't care for being no-thing.
