Me and my partner are looking to stay in Paris soon and would like to know where the best area to stay is. What neighbourhoods are best?

Looking for good restaurants, lively, busy atmosphere etc - We really want to experience France and the quaint romanticism of it.

Any Hotel recomendations (Luxury/High end) would be much appreciated.

Merci! (lol) ;)

  1. When we went to paris last may we stayed in the montmartre area of paris. Good restaurants/cafes, bars, shops...As it is up a hill it overlooks the centre of paris and has great views - especially at night time.

Also not too far from the moulin rouge which is good for a night out

  2. I would recommend Villa Panatheon in the Latin Quarter in Paris

You can book it through lastminute.com

The Latin Quarter is the trendy, arty area of central Paris - fantastic bars and restaurants

I had a fantastic weekend there in November

  6. While you're there check out the Moulin Rouge show, not any other ones as they aren't as good, it must be the Moulin Rouge!

We've stayed at a few places and I loved camping the best! But as for a Hotel try the Hotel Valadon, very central and awesome place to stay for a romantic getaway!

  7. Is it the first time you are going to visit Paris?

For the young and lively I would say the Latin quarter is the best place to be.

Le quartier des etudiants , quoi!

you have loads of cafes, restaurants. You stroll along the quais ,with the bouquinistes on the berges.

Notre Dame is close by and the Metro , buses are close by and Paris is open to you at your own pace and enjoyment.

Paris is one of the cities that is lively, bright and inviting.

    Best of staying there.

    Bon Sejour!
