Recommend a Camera?

I'm looking to buy an SLR with RAW image capabilities and an optical zoom for £450 ($900) or under such as the Canon 400D EOS . Best recommendation gets 10 points.

You've got to check out the Nikon D60!  I own this camera and I love it!  I got a gadget back with it and an extra lens, also.  It has everything!  I love the fact that it has Image Sensory Cleaning for the dust, because dust is a major problem for SLR's.  I just can't say enough good things about this SLR.  I am having fun taking pictures.  I live in the USA, but I am going to London and the Baltic Sea on vacation in July and I am soooo glad I bought this camera, in time for my trip.  You'll love it!
