  1. The Ruins by Scott Smith. And the Harry Potter series, of course.

  2. wondering what age you are, would give me a better idea as what to recommend....

Because you are into demons/vampires/other world creatures etc I am assuming you like fantasy??

I personally LOVE Trudi Canavan's books (there are 2 trilogys) and would recommend all of them to anyone. Im also reading Robin Hobb at the moment - I recommend her first trilogy first (The Farseer Trilogy) then a second trilogy that follows on the same characters (The Tawny Man Trilogy).....

12 very good meaty books that would get you through the next few months :)

  3. breaking dawn, is the last one out of the twilight series,

darren shan vampire series is great, more than 9 books in it :D

there is also a darren shan demon series with probably more than 5 or 6 books in it.

thats all i can think of for the moment. xx hope this helps!

    xx

  4. I loved Carnk and Glass bye ellen hoppkins

    Great books

  5. Twilight is really getting old. Doesn't anyone read anything else? Then again, it was just like this with Harry Potter.

Anyways, Anne Rice is the Queen of vampires. Read her novels, and you'll never think the same about vampires. :) Try the "Hollow Kingdom". It's about goblins. Perhaps, try for the more adult "Lord of the Rings", because they are classics and amazing.

Even though it's not a supernatural book, I also suggest "13 Reasons Why". It's a new book that I'm just crazy about by Jay Asher, and it is predominantly about this girl who committed suicide. It's really good.

  6. One of THE best series EVER done in ANY genre....

    Piers Anthony's  XANTH.

    Anthony is a genius!

And XANTH....parallel universe with Vampires, Werewolves, Princess and Princes, Magicians and Trolls, parallel universes within parallel universes, Elves, Dragons, Mermaids and Mermen, where Magic is common and technology doesn't work.

The Xanth series has fans from 8 yrs old to 80! Ya can't loss with this one!

There is like 30 of them too! They will keep you happy for a long time!

There have been only TWO books in the last 10 yrs that have made me smile in sheer joy like a little kid when I read them....Harry Potter and Xanth.

  7. R. A. Salvatore. nuff said.

  8. Id try anything by Steven King, Dean Koontz, for an entertaining read...... but two really good Vampire novels are I Am Legend by Richard Mattherson (dont be put of by the film, their nothing alike) and The Hunger by Whitley Strieber, both brilliant books, and are kinda grounded in realism.

  9. anything by martina cole or mandasue heller

  10. I've got a huge list of vampire romance, comedy, action, and horror for teens and adults here: http://www.squidoo.com/vampiretales

Many of them also have werewolves, demons, or other creatures of the sort.

Also be sure to check out the TV show Supernatural, if you're not already watching it. It's got lots of interesting beasties.

  11. Harry Potter???

  12. Sigh. twilight again.

if you want a good book I'd recommend anything by Augusten Burroughs.

People should really read things besides twilight and twilight-like books. Reminder: Steph Meyer isn't the 1st person to write vampire fiction.

    Try some Anne Rice.
