Recommend a good stun gun?

I want something affordable, small enough to fit in my purse, and I really want it to crackle and possible make sparks if possible. I don't want to actually have to use it for someone to realize what it is. I want it to be obvious and scary. Can anyone recommend a good model?

I teach a particular class that is about self-defense.  

A stun gun is too big and unwieldy for you to be pulling out of a purse, especially after your purse has been snatched!

They are also pretty expensive.

A better solution is pepper spray. I recommend the one called Punch.

You can get a holder for it that fits on a belt.  If someone threatens you, you spray them.  The results are much more entertaining than a stun gun.
