Question:

Recommend a house plant?

I have an older, slightly musty home that always seems to have a background odor that is nearly impossible to get rid of. I'd like to get a house plant that doesn't require much direct sunlight, does not grow to a big size, and is mildly aromatic. Any recommendations?

  1. Closet Plant does not require much light at all and produces a white flower. Actually prefers a low light condition.

  2. Not many house plants are aromatic. The best one for looks would be The Bird's Nest Fern.It likes shade, requires very little watering(mist the tops of the leaves with a sprayer).Try your local garden center and see what they suggest.

  3. Jacques: Hyacinth might be your best bet. They have a sweet smell. Jasmine will do well, as potted plant.  You will need to make small trellis for your  Jasmine.
