Recommend reading for me?

I love books by authors like Cassandra Clare, Laurie Halse Anderson, and the vampire series by Melissa De La Cruz. can you recommend any books that are on a pretty high reading level that are similar to those books?

I've never read Laurie Halse Anderson but I've read the other 2 authors and here are some other books I liked:

Maximum Ride

Vampire Kisses

The Vampire Diaries

and An Earthly Knight

I havnt read anything by those authors.  Im finishing a book by Alex Garland called the Beach and its one of the best Ive read.  He has two others and I plan to start one of them this weekend.
