Recommendation letter question..HELP!?

Question

K my boss said she will give me a recommendation letter.If i apply online for another joband send my resume and cover letter..how do i send the recommendation letter ?should i only give it in person when/if i come in for an interview or how would i add that to my resume and cover letter?..never done this before

I would scan it and in the cover letter say "attached is my resume and a recent letter of recommendation from my current employer".

You can have your boss write the letter "to whom it may concern" and give it to you or email it to you.  (hard copy would probably be better)  then put at the end of your resume "references and recommendations available upon request"
