Recommended Car Amp for Subs - 12" Rockford Fosgate P3's?

Question

I own TWO 12" Rockford Fosgate P3's.

Power Handling: 500 W RMS, 1000 W Max

Impedance: 4-Ohm x 2

Seeing as I have two of them, thats 1000 W RMS in total. So if i wire the subs in parallel, I can make them work at 2 ohms. So I'd just need an amp that can do 1000W @ 2 ohms. Correct?

Let me know. And recommend some good quality amps that wont empty my pockets completely.

For a good quality amp, you're looking in the price range of $0.60 to $1 per watt RMS. That's $600 to $1000 depending.
