Which would be a better set to get?? Used name-brand clubs that are about 5-10 years old?? Or a brand new set that are around the $100 range that include case and everything at a local K-Mart or something.

  1. If you are serious about playing golf and you can afford to pay around $600 for a full set of clubs, then I would recommend Golf Research In Play (G.R.I.P.)

This company designs golf clubs especially for the beginner. They are dedicated to developing the finest quality golf clubs that make the game easier to play, more fun, and highly affordable for the middle market recreational golfer.

  2. used brand name.....  I would be sure the irons are oversized as well..

  3. Go to academy they should have some clubs around 120 dollars for the whole set except the putter. The name will be like Intech or Precept or something.
