Recommended monthly/weekly comic titles?

Question

Right now I only go to my local comic store to buy a new volume of The Sandman or Y: The Last Man [as I finish the others I already have], so I'm wondering if there are any good ongoing comics in particular you guys recommend. Not that I don't like having the TPBs, but I'd also like having something to look forward to every month/week/whatever.

Trinity which has Superman Batman and Wonder Woman is weekly its not too bad. If you want something good I would get Green Lantern and GL corps cause its going to be building up toward the Blackest Night storyline which should be f$^%&n great.  Cant go wrong with the Final Crisis series either

The Spawn comics by Todd Mcfarlane are great. Amazing story that keeps you wondering what will happen next and the action is awesome. It has been running since 1992 and they are with Image Comics. Right now I think it is on number 182 or 183 and I think there are only a couple issues left. So basically the series is pretty long (Not Action Comics kind of long, but long enough to keep you occupied.) But you will find it will really last alot longer than you planned because the comics have lots of dialogue. I won't spoil the story for you, but it will definetely keep you guessing.

Shonenjump comics are what i look forward to reading even though you can read the manga on-line it has a whole bunch of other stuff in it like fan art quiz collectors cards. Check out the website: http://www.shonenjump.com/
