Can the keyboard shortcuts in excel be reconfigured or customized ?

I would like to reconfigure them to make it easier to do them one-handed. I need this to compensate for a disability, Thanks.

To change the keyboard shortcuts in excel is hard if not totally impossible, however you can install some keyboard macro program which automate a task like this one http://www.download.com/HotKeyz/3000-234...

you can then design your shortcuts for what task to do.
