Record gameplay from the actual tv?

I have a tv turner to record my gameplay into my pc but to be able to record it I must play on the actual computer screen, how can I record it while playing on my tv (w/o a camera)?

Buy a splitter plug, so you can feed the same signal to both your computer and your TV at the same time. Any electronics type store should be able to help you.
