Record help?

I got some records the other day and the hole in the middle of them is massive. My record player only has a prong kinda thing, what should I do?

  1. It sounds like you have 45 RPM records.  Some record players came with an adapter that you slipped over the spindle that allowed the 45 to align properly on your turntable.  Since you don't have that, another solution would be to adapt the hole in the 45 to your spindle size.  They sell inserts for that purpose.

  2. You need a little cheapo 45 adapter. Scroll about halfway down this page: http://www.turntablebasics.com/

    and you can see the little yellow plastic 25 cent thing. You can buy from this site or maybe look elsewhere. Good luck
