When asked to comment on the Volvo Golf Champions, Manassero said, “I am really looking forward to starting 2013 in Durban at the Volvo Golf Champions. I had a fantastic end to my season after having had quite a difficult summer so I want to keep this form
going into 2013”.
He continued, “Although I am really excited about Christmas and having a bit of a rest, I am already looking forward to playing against a field of European Tour champions in such a beautiful venue in the South African sunshine”.
The Italian, Manassero had a disastrous DP World Tour Championship in Dubai last week, when he secured the 42 position.

The flamboyant Spaniard, Miguel Angel Jimenez, has been included in the list of participants of the Volvo Golf Champions.
He recently made history in golf by winning the Hong Kong Open at the age of 48, the oldest golfer to accomplish this feat.
The Indian contingent taking part in the tournament comprises of Jeev Milkha Singh, who is the first Indian Golf Professional to win his European Tour card.
All the golfers participating in the Volvo Golf Champions tournament have plenty to prove, it is yet to be seen who comes out on top and claims the champions trophy.
