I have a Sony Dvd Handycam 405. I have rewritable discs that can record 1 hour maximum in LP mode. The disks are Mini DVDs, they hold 1.4 gb. I have found disks that are double sided and have 1.4 on each side, but having to flip the dvd after an hour doesnt work for me. I couldnt find a disc that recorded 2 hours PER SIDE. Is there such a disk? If not s there a way i could record to a full size DVD, or to an external harddrive, or directly to my computer. Plz Help Thanks.

    Answer: No.

    Answer: No.

You might be able to connect your DVD based camcorder to an analog/digital bridge using the AV-out composite cable...

    If your computer has USB

    If your computer has Firewire

This would bring standard definition DV into the computer - and 1 hour of captured video would be about 14 gig... so two hours is 28 gig. Do you have that much available hard drive space?
