Record phone calls?

I need to find a way (economically, if possible) to record phone calls on my land line. Someone told me that they had heard of a device that plugs into your phone jack that records calls, but they didn't know what it was called. Does anyone know anything about this? Where could I get one, how much does it cost, and how does it work? Thanks in advance!

yes just go to an electronics store and you can get one radioshack is probly your best option

no there is not i can really do anything with one but have never heard of that
