Record telephone conversation?

I want to record telephone conversation.I don't want to use computer for that.I care about quality of voice.

Someone suggest me use a mp3 recorder for this,and connect that to telephone line.

Which telephone do you suggest? ( I prefer a panasonic model)

The poster  above is partially correct...you do have to inform a person that you are recording them unless you have a Court Order giving you permission to record without the persons knowledge if you plan on using the recording for legal purposes...as far as the model I don't really know...I do have a BOSE System and it records rather well.


  2. I have used the devices below and all seem to give good quality recordings. All are available at Radio Shack and are very reasonably priced. All should work with your existing phone and a cassette recorder. Three of the four can be hidden.

    The law is different in each state about recording conversations. In a few states, you may legally record anything on your own phone without disclosing it to anyone. Be sure to check your local regulations. Hope this helps.

  4. Just so's you know, for legal reasons you are obliged to tell the other person that you are recording the call.
