Recorded a dvd of halo 3 videos and i want them on my computer how do i get them there.?

It was recorded on a magnovox dvd/vcr combo. I need them for a project on the evolution of gaming and bungie studios was my project so i also have to do some of halo and halo2 and i cant get them. when i open the folder to view file it shows VIDEO_RM. please help me

You'll need software to rip the files from the DVD and edit them. The easiest way I've found to do this is using Roxio Easy Media Creator following steps like these:

You next best alternative would be to follow a similar process using Sony Vegas.
