Recording Live Video of the Moon.?

Is it possible to sight a high powered telescope to the moon, then connect it to a camcorder, then connect them both "DIRECTLY" to a laptop so you can recieve your pictures directly onto a 17 inch laptop screen instead of just watching them on a small camcorder screen.

Anything is possible.

The tough part will probably be locating/buying the lens adapter to connect your camcorder to the telescope.

If you can connect your camcorder to a laptop today and see things the lens can see today, the connection to the telecope is merely a different lens.

Most camcorders have the AV (composite) out that allows the camcorder LCD and an external monitor to display the same thing. Not all camcorders will allow you to connect USB or firewire for a simultaneous data feed to the LCD panel on the camcorder and a computer.
