Recording Olympics digitally with antenna ?

I have a regular free air antenna that goes to a digital converter so I can get HD on my HD tv. What would be the cheapest way to record the olympics digitally? I honestly have NO idea how DVR's work

If you have an HDTV (with built-in tuner) you should have no need for a converter.

To record digitally, you need a DVR or DVD recorder a digital tuner.

Or, if you have a PC with Media center, get a digital tuner for your PC and use it as a DVR.
