Recording from TV?

i want to record some stuff of my xbox 360 and put on my pc to edit? just like (youtube.com/machinma)

i want to know

- where can i buy the stuff

- how will it cost

- and other things i will need to know on recording it.

  1. I have an Archos 605 portable media player that can do almost anything - include record from the TV

    It records it to any format you want (almost) but this is a pricey option.

    Archos 605 30gb - £199

    Optional TV dock - £75

    I'm sure there is a better way
