Recording from sky HD box to a DVDR?

Question

Syk HD box allows me to record from the hard drive and when I am watching real time, but will not let me finalise the CD to allow use on another DVD player is there a way around this.

Yep been pondering on this,i am having hd put in on Saturday

Whats needed is a HD, DVD writer player,i have been

studying them on EBay but to make sure i`m going to ask the guy who is fixing sky hd box in for his ideas.

what setup are you referring to? The skyhd box doesnt have a dvd recorder in it to finalise from...

Connect a DVD recorder to your DVR and record to DVD-Rs. However, you cannot record HD content to regular DVDRs.
