Recording my game?

OK, somebody already answer me that I can play my nintendo gamecube on my laptop with an USB 2.0 VHS VCD DVD Video Audio to PC Capture Adaptor but now I want to record what I'am playing, you know I love to play super smash bros melee so I want to capture my game play to upload it youtube.

If I buy this Video Audio catupre adaptor, can I record what I'am playing and if I can, how do I do that?

There are many ways to capture video on a PC but Fraps is probably the best method.
