does telsra record every phone conversation you have, so if you want to replay it if your disputing a bill they can show you it?

no they don't record every phone call.

this would be a violation of privacy rights

Don't think so. They would tap your calls only if they think you're up to something.

They however, have a print out of all the calls you've made.
